All trips leave from the bottom of the armory (on 15th street) unless otherwise noted.
Please be sure to contact trip leaders ahead of time if you would like to remove yourself from a trip list.
Occupancy of trips is car-dependant

Note: Unofficial trips are not official club functions. Although many unofficial trips are led by qualified leaders, neither the club nor its officers have any way of knowing this. Unofficial trips are posted here only as a community service. By attending an unofficial trip posted here you agree not to hold ROC, its officers, or leaders responsible for events or activities associated with that trip. Anyone may announce an unofficial trip at the Wednesday evening club meeting. Or on the outing-l@lists.rpi.edu mailing list (provided that you identify the trip as unofficial).
General Trip Information

All trips meet at the Armory unless otherwise stated.	For beginner trips, the leader should specify what you need to bring (i.e. check out from the equipment pit). Otherwise, you should know what to bring.	If you are a member of the club, you may go on any trip for which you are qualified (see below).	You should always bring a little bit of money along to help out with gas.

Beginner	Intermediate	Advanced	Unofficial Trip
No experience required. Easy trips during which the leader will tell you everything you need to know. note : you must attend a pool session before going on a kayaking trip.	You have some experience and understand the basic requirements for participating in the activity. More difficult trips under harder conditions.	You have developed enough skills within the activity to be responsible for yourself. Difficult trips under extreme conditions.	These are not Outing Club or Union sponsored trips. The "leader" of such a trip is not necessarily qualified to lead the trip.
