The Outing Club climbs such locations as the Gunks and Little Falls, and take trips to local indoor rock gyms such as AIR and Electric City. The ROC Climbing wall is now open, located in the 87 Gym!

      • ROC Climbing Wall: Coming Soon to the '87 Gym!!!
      • Electric City Rock Gym: Climbing gym in Schenectady with a separate bouldering room.
      • Albany Indoor Rock Gym: Climbing gym in Albany with lots of routes (including roof climbs). Also has an elaborate system of caves running behind the walls for when your arms get tired.

      Places To Climb Outside:

      • Little Falls (Little Falls, NY): TR, Trad, & a little Bouldering
      • Shawgunks - Trapps Road, Lost City, Peterskill (New Paltz, NY): TR, Trad, & Bouldering at all 3 locations, though Peterskill is known for its bouldering.
      • McKenzie Pond (Lake Placid, NY): Bouldering
      • Great Barrington (Great Barrington, MA): Bouldering
      • Rose Ledges (Rose Ledges, MA): TR & Trad.
      • Rumney (Rumney, NH): The best place for sport climbing in the northeast. Also has TR, Trad, & a little Bouldering.
      • Buck Mountain (Lake George, NY): TR, Trad, & Sport.
      • Directions to some of the outside places
