Announcements:

• Whitewater Rescue course! Cost if $60 (down from $250), and the course will take place sometime this Sping (2008) Contact corkea@rpi.edu if you're interested!
• We need someone to learn how to maintain the database - if you have some experience or are interested in learning, contact one of the officers via email.
• The position of Rafting chair, and Canoeing chair are both open.

  Activity chairs are in charge of maintaining/repairing inventory as well as buying new gear, and get access to the pit. Contact the ROC officers if you're interested.

• Plan an IOCA Trip We are looking for people interested in going/planning a big trip at the end of the year after finals. Hiking, camping, backpacking… Catskills or Adirondacks.
• Did you go on an interesting trip? Share your experiences with the club by writing about it! Please send articles (long, short, really short) for the Cairn to Mike (chum2@rpi.edu). Next issue 9/07!
